Mona Henry is the founder of The Data Slayer and a highly skilled data analytics and business intelligence professional with a passion for transforming raw data into meaningful insights. Her journey into data began in the U.S. Army, where she served a six year enlistment as a Computer Programmer and Data Analyst, developing mission-critical applications and gaining hands-on experience in database management and programming.

With a Master’s degree in Data Science and Data Engineering from UC San Diego, as well as a Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Mona has built an extensive career spanning SQL, data analytics, Business Intelligence development, data modeling and consulting. She has worked as an independent consultant and corporate employee, and held key roles in data engineering, business intelligence, and database optimization, helping businesses leverage data for smarter decision-making.
